Please note that not all of the tables will match.  Tablecloths are recommended.  We have tablecloths available to rent for an additional fee, or you are welcome to provide your own.

What does your package include and how much does it all cost (including additional fees)?

All rentals include the use of the indoor space, tables, chairs, kitchen, and sound system. When do I have to pay?

A retainer of $300 is necessary to secure your event reservation. The remaining balance must be paid one week prior to the event.

What is your capacity?

The Clement can comfortably accommodate 120 people seated, or 120 people seated with a dance floor.

What is your parking capacity?

The Clement has a private parking lot for 20 vehicles on-site. Additional vehicles may use on-street parking, which is typically plentiful on both sides of Center Street and the surrounding streets. Guests may be directed to our Directions & Parking page for a parking map. We can also provide valet parking services.

Please check out our video on YouTube on how to park at The Clement.  Feel free to share with your guests.  (This will open a new window)

Do you have an in-house caterer or can/must we bring in an outside caterer?

The Clement does not have an in-house caterer. You are welcome to bring a caterer of your choosing! Please feel free to use our list of recommended vendors to get started.

Do you provide alcohol or can we bring our own? Are there additional corkage fees? Are you BYOB?

Alcohol is not supplied by us. However, we do offer a wooden bar for your bartender’s use. Should you choose to provide alcohol for your guests, it is necessary to sign a BYOB waiver and pay a nominal fee. Additionally, we strongly recommend that all event hosts secure event insurance that includes an alcohol liability insurance policy, alongside the BYOB waiver.

Can I hold the wedding ceremony here?

Yes!  As a former church constructed in 1903, there have been more than a few ceremonies here;)

Is there a coordinator on staff? Who will my main contact be? Will that person be there on the day of my event?

Phillip Rhodes is the proprietor of The Clement and he will be your main contact.    He will be available for the day of your event.

Do you have a plan for rain?

We are an indoor venue, so rain does not impact us. We do have an outdoor patio and garden that is available as an add-on to your venue rental, which can be under cover if needed.

Are there accommodations for disabled guests?

Yes, we have an accessible entrance (ramp without any stairs) and an accessible restroom.

Is there a dance floor?

Yes, we have floors available for dancing.  One is the main sanctuary of the church and in our school auditorium.

Do you have a contract I can view?
With it being a single space, is it possible to set up for a ceremony and reception there?

Yes! The Clement is well-suited for both ceremonies and receptions, and a lot of events use our space for both purposes. We can turn over the space within about 15 minutes. During that time, your guests are welcome to mingle outside on our patio or on the balcony.

Do you have pictures of the $400 vs $500 balloons by chance?
